We will be offering two live online ground schools initially:
- Club Av8: A ground school designed for high schoolers that covers all Private Pilot topics and mixes in career exploration. Lessons are taught by our qualified flight instructors and designed to help students fully grasp concepts that are critical to the flight training process. Chat rooms are monitored by flight instructors so students can ask questions in real-time. After the course is done, students will be connected with a flight instructor in their local area to continue their flight training.
- Club CFI: A ground school designed for adults seeking their Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate. Taught by our chief flight instructor Chris Gregg, the course pulls on techniques used in our on-campus CFI course and gives students opportunities to practice teaching students to gain valuable insight into the learning process.
Schedule:
- Club Av8: meets Tuesday nights starting September 14, 2021 from 5pm-7pm CST. Class runs until May 24, 2022.
- Club CFI: meets Wednesday nights starting September 15, 2021 from 5pm-8pm CST. Session 1 runs for 8 weeks.
